It's an honour to be chosen by any bride to do their wedding flowers, but to get the chance to create the florals for a good friend on their wedding day is so special.
Shelley is a beautiful soul who came to me when her (now husband) proposed to her, and asked me to transform her day with a big load of floral love.
It was a hot summers day, early December. The venue was the picturesque Bonnie Brae barn in Flynn. It was a day filled with so much love & laughter!

How did you & Mark meet?
We met when he was working as a mechanic in Churchill, but we didn't talk properly until a mutual friends' 21st birthday party.
How did he propose?
We both had some time off around Christmas and we went down to Wilsons Prom. It was a nice day; I was lying on the beach with my eyes closed, enjoying the sunshine. I opened my eyes and saw a ring box, and then cried like a baby. I was crying so much that I never actually said yes! He had asked my dad the week before for permission, so Dad knew all about it and was very excited for us.
What did you enjoy most about planning the wedding?
I enjoyed looking for my dress, picking the colour schemes and dreaming about what the flowers would look like!
What is your favourite memory from the day?
Hearing Mark's vows was very special. We wrote our own vows and didnt hear each others until the day. He made me cry (again!)
