Wedding Spotlight: Katie & Ryan

One sunny day in the middle of November, Katie and Ryan said their I Do's on a beautiful property in Seaview.

Katie chose to carry vibrant seasonal blooms in pinks, yellow, purple, blue & red. We used gorgeous local peonies, David Austin roses, natives & succulents to achieve the textured colour-bomb bouquets for this vintage inspired country wedding.

How did you and Ryan meet?

Ryan & I met 7 years ago at the Darnum Pub through mutual friends, we started hanging out and then just went from there.

How did he propose?

Ryan proposed on Christmas Day 2014 - he'd asked my mum and dad for permission and they all had me convinced I was getting a hanging egg chair in which I hate! He proposed when we woke up, after he'd gone to get it out of his hiding place in the shed.  I had absolutely no idea, and he picked the ring all on his own, and I love it.

What was your favourite part of planning the day?

I loved being able to organise what we had talked about for so long, having our casual wedding was everything we had ever wanted, as well as being able to incorporate Ryan's love of Harley's to our day.

What is your favourite memory from the day?

Having all our family and friends to celebrate our amazing day with us, getting our photos and riding away on Harley's from the ceremony was pretty memorable :)
